"Having been born in Venezuela, although I was raised in East Hampton, I have maintained a close connection to my birth country - I still have family and friends there," Esperanza Leon explained. "I have felt powerless witnessing the drastic decline, the nightmare that Venezuela is living."
"The plan is to open before Memorial Day," Taylor Rose Berry revealed.
"I chose the title East Meets West because there are four Sumi E (oriental brush painting) artists in the show," Ursula Thomas reflected.

"The most memorable benefit performance I have done is something on a much smaller scale," Casey, who has headlined many, many benefit shows, revealed.
"It is an undeniable fact about Man of La Mancha that if the star does even a passable job of the show's anthem, The Impossible Dream, the evening is worth any reasonable price of admission," Anita Gates said in a 2007 review.
"We have another monster line up for everyone," Joseph Vecsey shared. "You can see that in everyone's credits."
"I was putting a Foreigner type band together. The timing was perfect," Kochanski said about the band's founding three years ago.
"It's a great way to celebrate spring with laughter and music, and working together with my fellow arts organizations!" Tracy Mitchell relayed.
