"These photographs by Fred McDarrah give us an extraordinary glimpse into the cultural milieu of the '60s and '70s, and an intimate view of some of the most important artists of the time," said Alicia Longwell.
"Some of the work is literally a splash of water other works hope to make a splash in with there vibrant colors or unique choice of media," Andrea McCafferty and Kat O'Neill relayed. "Maybe a prominent display or a dash or stroke of color."
"In what may be their final season at their summer home on Golden Pond, Norman and Ethel Thayer contend with their present circumstances while reflecting on their relationships: to each other, to family, to aging, and to a life and a place defined by love," Terry Brennan, HTC General Manager, noted.
"LaBute celebrates the 'uncommonness' of common speech in Reasons to be Pretty," Joan M. Lyons explained.
"This funding helps us overcome many of the barriers such as transportation and income that have prevented thousands of families from coming to see us in Bridgehampton," remarked Steve Long. "Now, with a permanent location in Riverside, we can truly achieve CMEE's vision of serving ALL children in Eastern Long Island regardless of economic means or needs."
"It's one of the highlights during the winter season," Tracy Mitchell shared.
"For Ruben Sings Luther, my goal was to not only to pay tribute to Luther but to add my own passion on top of Luther's brilliant songs," Ruben Studdard said.
"It is a wonderful thing to see people come together and share their gifts and talents for those who need it most," Daniel O'Shea noted.
"I'm excited to screen this film about an artist who has profoundly changed the notion of what art is and so eloquently talked about it," reflected Corinne Erni.
"I don't know who they are or where they come from, but I don't question it anymore and just laugh when they appear," the FUNist shared.
