There is a pretty good chance you may have never even visited this area ever. It's fun to explore, but bring a map and a compass.

"Continuing off last years tremendously attended Feast, we have added new and interesting food vendors, an expanded car show on Sunday and Valet parking!" Rick Martel shared. "Admission is still free and its wristband day everyday at the Carnival!"

"It was a group effort," Jamie Berger shared. "There were many rescue groups involved to help these dogs make their way from the Bahamas to Long Island."

Everyone on the East End has all sorts of beach stories from when they were children, teens, and adults. There are campfire stories, big wave stories, perhaps even some first kiss stories.

"The whole community comes together, there's loads of great food and it's fun for everyone in the family," Lynn Blue shared.

"We are thrilled to host an event where people come together to enjoy great music, and raise money for an extremely important cause," Melissa Martin relayed.

The end of summer brings festival season to the East End.

"Harvest Day Fair is for people of all ages who enjoy hands-on activities, bluegrass music, farm animals and traditional farm demonstrations," Tom Edmonds relayed.

"This year, the number of cars has increased to the point where the entire 18th fairway is covered, all the way down to the art fair. The transition will be seamless," said Robert Rubin.

"Not only has Bideawee spared Roscoe, Sherlock, Hershey and Lova Boy from the hurricane's destruction, but by transporting and housing shelter animals from down south, space in affected shelters becomes available for the pets who will sadly, but inevitably, find themselves stranded and in need," Leslie Granger said.
