I still get a charge every spring when that John Fogerty song comes on the car radio and I hear, "Put me in coach, I'm ready to play today. Look at me, I can be centerfield!"

The original ferry was founded in the 1700's by Samuel Clark as a service for travelers from Shelter Island to Greenport.

"There were many young people in Jessica's age group who work hard, yet took the time out to be so generous and thoughtful as to donate to her fundraiser. It speaks volumes about their character," shared Lisa Larsen, Jessica's aunt.

"The patient-centered medical home (PCMH) is a model of care that aims to transform the delivery of comprehensive primary care to children, adolescents, and adults," Robert S. Chaloner, Chief Administrative Officer of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, noted.

"We are constantly studying the movements, behaviors, and health of populations of different marine mammals through land, water, and aerial surveys, satellite tagging work with partners, necropsies, and more," Rob DiGiovanni said.

"We are very pleased to offer this program as it not only provides a community service opportunity for local teens, but also avails the opportunity for them to learn a new skill," said Danielle Waskiewicz, library director.

"Their arrival at the Manor marks a smooth transition of leadership and the next step towards the Manor's future," said Benjamin Dyett, President of the Board of Directors at Sylvester Manor.

"I can't say enough amazing things about the gift Josephine has. It truly is an amazing thing to see," said Lauren McNamara, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of New Hope Rising.

In the summer of 1973 I had a front seat to history.

"Our goal this year is to do 1,700 adoptions, which means we will rescue 1,800 homeless cats and dogs this year," Scott Howe, ARF Executive Director and CEO, told us.
