"The need has been growing over the years. We distribute the second Tuesday of the month, and easily 100 or more people show up," said Francis Ecker, who founded the Montauk Food Pantry 30 years ago.
"They do so many great things for people. It's just nice to give back to them," said Julie Kazdin Boucher.
"Shuttle service on the LIRR has the potential to not only lessen traffic, but also to provide a larger bank of employees for the our businesses," shared JoAnne Pahwul.
"So many good dogs and cats arrive at Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation each year," said Joe Gettler.
"Things get pretty quite here after October thru May, and that's not good for business whether you own a restaurant or run a museum or art gallery," noted Kevin Lonnie.
"NPC loves to create a slow grind fear through imagery, literal and figurative darkness, leaving audience members with remnants of theatrical disturbia once they leave," said Kate Mueth.
"We envision the Southampton Arts Center as your one-stop-shop for terror this month!" said Director of Programs, Amy Kirwin.
"The best way to avoid getting the flu is to be vaccinated by the end of October," shared Deborah Maile, RN, Director of Infection Prevention at Southampton Hospital.
Sure collecting candy as a kid was fun, but these East End activities prove it's not just about the trick or treating on Halloween.
"Witnessing Mike's heroic, two-year fight, we saw firsthand the courage and strength cancer patients have," said John Freedman.
