"We envision the Southampton Arts Center as your one-stop-shop for terror this month!" said Director of Programs, Amy Kirwin.

"The best way to avoid getting the flu is to be vaccinated by the end of October," shared Deborah Maile, RN, Director of Infection Prevention at Southampton Hospital.

Sure collecting candy as a kid was fun, but these East End activities prove it's not just about the trick or treating on Halloween.

"Witnessing Mike's heroic, two-year fight, we saw firsthand the courage and strength cancer patients have," said John Freedman.

"The Amagansett Food Institute will join the community in celebrating the bounty of the fall harvest at our Second Annual Fall Festival," said Kathleen Masters.

Why limit letting your little one proudly display their haunting Halloween attire to just one day?

Hamptons Halloween parades are spaced out enough this year that you can bring your ghosts, witches, goblins, princesses, superheroes or other otherworldly characters to several of the marches.

"I am thrilled to be honored," shared Gornik. "But I'm going to repeat over and over again how me being honored is very much a matter of being able to work with extraordinary community partners, starting with my fantastic Sag Harbor Partnership board, and the wonderful people I've met through Save Sag Harbor over the years."

"The Days have been a resounding success, with anywhere from 20+ to 50+ scarecrows put up around Montauk the past few years," noted Maureen Rutkowski.

"We have 224 acres here, and our work is to sustain this into the 21st Century," said Sara Gordon.
