On Saturday, November 8th, the East Hampton Library concluded its Tom Twomey Series with a conversation with author Lance Richardson and his book Biography as Pilgrimage: On the Trail of Peter Mathiessen. Richardson's 8-year project included retracing Peter's 200-mile trek in the Himalayas. The event was co-sponsored by The Peter Matthiessen Center.

Last Saturday, Wölffer held its annual harvest party at its scenic vineyard in Sagaponack, the fall Hamptons event. As guests made their way through the grounds, they were greeted by international food stations offering exquisite specialties marked by their respective flags: an extensive charcuterie station for France, bratwurst and pretzels for Germany, and so on.
