The 24th Annual Women of Distinction Luncheon at the Midtown Hilton in Manhattan was attended by more than 700 guests and raised $1.75 million dollars. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation event included a fashion show by Moda Operandi. The afternoon honored Marilyn Chinitz, Woman of Distinction in Law, and Skylar Adams, Rising Star.
"It gave us the opportunity to not only rehearse truck placement around the school in case of a fire, but more importantly, to give our members an opportunity to tour all sections of the school, invaluable in case of a fire," noted Vincent Franzone, Chief, Montauk Fire Department.
