The premier literary event of the Hamptons brought out Authors Night Honorary Founding Chair Alec Baldwin, as well as this year's Honorary Co-Chairs, which included Gwyneth Paltrow, Christie Brinkley, Eric Ripert, Robert A. Caro, Dick Cavett, Mary Higgins Clark, and Dr. Ruth Westheimer, who were also among the 100 authors that signed copies of their latest books.

Artist April Gornik hosted Guild Hall's Summer Gala: Aspects of Minimalism, which paid tribute to philanthropist and art collector, Neda Young. The evening began with an exclusive preview of the Museum's "Aspects of Minimalism" exhibit and after the sneak peak was over moved to Mulford Farm for cocktails and a "sumptuous" dinner.

Veterinarians International hosted "Trunks of Love: a Night of Elephants and Champagne" in honor of World Elephant Day. Held at the Baker House in East Hampton, the evening toasted to Christie Brinkley for her "passionate humanitarianism, achievements in animal advocacy, and leadership in championing the cause of elephants" as well as elephant expert Richard Lair.
