It was a busy afternoon at Guild Hall in East Hampton, where they celebrated the opening of four exhibitions. The new exhibits include Prints from the Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies, an interactive installation in Nina Yankowitz's Criss~Crossing the Divine, sculpture and paintings in Arlene Slavin Intersections, and Billy Rayner's watercolors.
Held at a private residence in Bridgehampton, the Parrish Art Museum hosted a cocktail reception to celebrate summer 2014, as well as kick-off their annual Midsummer gala. This year's benefit, which will be held at the Water Mill Museum, will honor author and documentary filmmaker Katharina Otto-Bernstein and philanthropist Inga Maren Otto.
