Following the overwhelming success of its second edition, Art Southampton, the premier international contemporary and modern art fair for acquiring exceptional art in the Hamptons returned to the Pavilion at the Southampton Elks Lodge on Thursday, July 24 through Monday, July 28, 2014. This year's number of participants included 80 of the world's most prestigious galleries.

Art Southampton was filled to the rafters with art from across the globe and the opening night VIP party was quite the crush with thousands in attendance. From photography to sculpture to the work of Hamptons artists, we couldn't help ourselves to pick a few favorites.

"Galapagos," the Parrish Art Museum's first fully staged theatrical production, recently debuted at the Water Mill Museum. The theatrical performance by Tucker Marder & Christian Scheider is based on the 1985 Kurt Vonnegut novel.

Locals and visitors alike gathered at Montauk Downs/360° East Restaurant to try tastings from several Montauk eateries during the Second Annual "A Taste Of Montauk" presented by the Montauk Chamber of Commerce. Ross Bleckner, Jeffrey Collé, Deborah Hughes, David Kleinberg, Isabel Rattazzi and Stewart Shining hosted Acria's annual Cocktails at Sunset Hamptons benefit, which was presented by David Yurman. The event was held at Beechnut Hill Farm estate in Water Mill.

"Clever Little Lies" by Joe DiPietro debuted to a star studded crowd at Guild Hall in East Hampton. Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin, Barbara Walters, Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker, Joy Behar, Bob Balaban, and Blythe Danner were all in attendance at opening night of the comedy, which stars Marlo Thomas.

Jerry Ford along with his wife, interior designer Kelli Ford, hosted a cocktail reception for the President’s Committee. Guests including Southampton Hospital CEO & President Robert Chaloner, Southampton Hospital Foundation President Steve Bernstein, Southampton Hospital Summer Party chair Laura Lofaro Freeman, Audrey and Martin Gruss, and Jean Remmel Fitzsimmons were in attendance.

JANGEORGe owners Jan Oostdijk and George Rutgers toasted to the debut of Southampton designer Lisa Jackson's LJ CROSS fine jewelry collection at their East Hampton store. Guests who came out to celebrate the launch included Vera Wang, Nicole Miller, Harry and Laura Slatkin, Alex Papacristedes and George Furias.

After mingling with sponsors and catching a glimpse of famous polo player and Ralph Lauren model, Nacho Figueras, attendees took to the sidelines to watch the game between Bash Kazi's KIG and Peter Brant's White Birch.

The rain held out for a special evening at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, where Love Heals, the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education, hosted Let's Misbehave.
