A sea of green could be found throughout the halls of Aquebogue Elementary School in the Riverhead Central School District in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Donning their Irish best, students took part in fun activities like fashioning leprechaun traps and hats.

After 81 days in Atlantic Marine Conservation Society's (AMSEAS) critical care facility, 11 critically endangered Kemp's ridley sea turtles are getting a second chance at life. Now in its 12th year, the goal of P.S. I Love You Day is to raise awareness about bullying and suicide - and also promote kindness. Hampton Bays Middle Schoolers took part in a variety of activities, such as engaging in classroom discussions and helping design an “I am” wall featuring positive messages.
