"My complaint about the executive orders and legislation relating to evictions is just that they are overbroad and vague. They could be interpreted as applying to seasonal rentals, which is far beyond the state intention of the orders," Assemblyman Thiele told us.
On October 23, 2019, Governor Cuomo signed into law a New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR) supported-amendment to the Real Property Law. The amendment eliminates the exemption from continuing education for those licensees who are "grandfathered" under the current law.

Among the guidelines of greatest concern to the real estate brokers is the one that poses the question: "Can a landlord's agent collect a 'broker's fee' from the prospective tenant?"
"There aren't many freestanding restaurants like this that are available, especially ones that have been home to two very successful restaurants for more than 50 years," Nicole Tunick and Zachary Tunick noted.
