"When you hear about a horrific story in the media, we are called to help," explained Dr. Mary L. Pulido.
"It's a really unusual feeling to live somewhere one day and then get on a plane to go on vacation and you can't go back," Nalepinski told Hamptons.com.
"We are all deeply touched by the outpouring of generosity and support from the local community," Scarlett Johansson remarked.
"Maggie is one of many displaced dogs that was transported to the shelter from crisis situations in Puerto Rico and Texas," said Pamela A. Green.
"We are psyched to stay involved with this amazing crew!" said Almond Owner Jason Weiner.
"It was grueling work - we went into houses and ripped from ceilings down in many places and emptied out houses," said Maureen Rutkowski who volunteered with Team Rubicon.
"It's an awesome local lineup and everyone's definitely excited," Abby Gawronski told us.
It was a "touching moment," for Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education as they celebrated Fiesta 2017 in the wake of two leveling natural disasters, said Jacqueline Weld Drake, who chairs their uber elegant galas with Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia.
"I wanted to do something more fun than just donating a yoga class," Jolie Parcher explained.
"This is going to be a great evening of fun and games, and everybody at the Partnership is looking forward to it," April Gornik shared.
