If you are looking for some fun, particularly for the kids, head to East Quogue for the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Village Green which has been rescheduled due to the inclement weather Memorial Day weekend. East Quogue’s version of Central Park will be bustling with fun activities for the whole family, including a magician, face painting, balloon twisting and a double slide for the kids.
There will also be live music and food and drink vendors featuring wine and beer, pizza and sausage heroes, pulled pork, clams on the half shell, ice cream and, of course, hot dogs and hamburgers. The celebration starts at noon and runs through 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29th and is co-hosted by the East Quogue Chamber of Commerce ([email protected]) and the East Quogue Civic Association ([email protected]) who are welcoming any businesses interested in becoming a sponsor.
