Hamptons Scarecrow Days Are Here

With Hamptons residents flocking Montauk for the Chamber Of Commerce’s 32nd Annual Fall Festival, the holiday weekend is the perfect time to debut your entry for the 3rd Annual Montauk Scarecrow Days. The competition is presented by Montauk Youth and the Montauk Village Association.

Pick up a scarecrow frame which were donated by RBS, and location designation at CinemaCycle at the Montauk Movie (15 South Edgemere Street, 631-668-2393) or Keeshan Real Estate (37 The Plaza # B, 631-668-2000). Come up with your most creative creature and make sure it can withstand all weather conditions through November 2.

It is a children’s event so make sure to keep it clean because organizers reserve the right to reject or remove any entry that fails to meet event standards or is ruled inappropriate.

Judging will take place and winners will be announced in late October.
