Hamptons Animal Shelter Joins Annual Walk

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) headed to the Hudson River Park in Manhattan to join pet lovers for the 4th Annual Strut Your Mutt dog walk on Saturday, September 28.

“Every day more than 9,000 pets are killed in America’s shelters because they don’t have a home,” noted the Best Friends Animal Society who sponsored the walk. “Each one is an individual; each one a valued life worth saving. That number should be zero.”

The Foundation’s volunteers rose over $7,500 in pledges, which will go towards funding lifesaving adoption programs as well as spay/neuter services.
