Mother Nature finally displayed her good side just in time for the 18th Annual Easter Bonnet Parade in Sag Harbor on Saturday, April 19.
“Anywhere between six hundred and one thousand people participated in the event last year. This year is looking good based on the first round of visitors,” said Diane Bucking, who ran the petting zoo. Diane and Phil Bucking, of Sag Harbor Garden Center, hosted the pop-up petting zoo, to which children of all ages flocked to pet ducks, llamas, pigs, and more cute animals.

“The bunnies are my favorite,” said Eden, who has attended the event with her mother for the last two years. Between the ornate floral bonnets and the adorable animals, the parade is sure to remain a long-lasting tradition in Sag Harbor.
