This summer, Navy Beach is honoring Montauk’s naval history and continuing its partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation. On Saturday, June 21, the Montauk eatery is hosting “Honoring our Warriors. Supporting their Families,” to help raise awareness and funds for the Foundation, which provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.
During the event, attendees can chat with retired Navy SEALs and Navy SEAL Foundation representatives as well as others from the Naval Special Warfare community. The benefit will also include live music by Nancy Atlas, wines provided by Turquoise Life, beer from Brooklyn Brewery, and signature light bites.
“Navy Beach is honored to support the Navy SEAL Foundation for the second year in a row, and to build upon the results we achieved together in 2013,” said Navy Beach partner, Frank Davis. “We feel fortunate to be able to put our efforts towards assisting the Navy SEAL Foundation ‘programs with purpose’ and in a small way supporting these warriors and their families. The experience has been rewarding and the local community’s response and support has been tremendous.”

From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, Navy Beach will add a donation of $1 to each dining check in support of the Foundation, and guests will have the option to increase the value of their donation. In an effort to improve upon the $17,000 raised for the foundation last year, Navy Beach will once again match the first $2,500 raised through this season’s efforts.
The Navy SEAL Foundation’s mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families. Their work focuses on five pillars: Warrior Support and Family Services, Educational Opportunities, Tragedy Assistance, Survivor Support and Legacy Preservation.
“Honoring our Warriors. Supporting their Families,” is on Saturday, June 21, from 4 to 6 p.m.
