With towns strewn in spider webs and jack-o-lanterns, adults and children dressed in their best costumes and groups of eager trick-or-treaters searching for the best candy around – we all love Halloween parades. Here are seven Hamptons Halloween parades you definitely won’t want to miss.
1. For a parade fit for pets, grab your little fur ball, put them in their best costume, and check out Little Lucy’s Halloween Pet Parade. From 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, head down to Little Lucy’s Canine Couture Boutique (91 Jobs Lane, Southampton), where the cutest house animals around will stride through Southampton Village. All proceeds from the afternoon will benefit the Southampton Animal Shelter (www.southamptonanimalshelter.com).

2. The East Quogue PTA (eastquoguepta.org) will host the annual East Quogue Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 25th at 5:30 p.m. Starting at the East Quogue Firehouse (465 Montauk Highway, East Quogue), families will march through Main Street to the Village Green, where there will be a Pumpkin Carving Contest and other Halloween activities.
3. For story time with a Halloween twist, head to the annual Halloween Parade at the Hampton Library (2478 Main Street, Bridgehampton, www.hamptonlibrary.org) on Saturday, October 25th. At 10 a.m., the fun will begin in the program room with a holiday story. Following the magical myth, the children will fly through town, showing off their best costumes and, of course, collecting candy along the way.

4. Come on down to Agawam Park (23 Main Street, Southampton) in your cutest, scariest and silliest costume on Sunday, October 26th at 1 p.m. and take part in the annual Rag-A-Muffin Parade and Pumpkin Trail. The parade starts at the park and continues through Windmill Lane, Nugent Street, Main Street, and Jobs Lane. Local merchants will be handing out candy to the costumed kids and the parade will be followed by a trick-or-treat “Pumpkin Trail.” For more information, visit www.southamptonchamber.com.
5. For back to back Rag-A-Muffin fun, check out the Sag Harbor Rag-A-Muffin Parade on Sunday, October 26th at 1 p.m. After meeting at the Laundromat on Nassau Street and parading to the Custom House, be sure to stop by the carnival and Halloween fair and support the Bridgehampton School chorus and theatre club. 6. The annual Westhampton Beach Halloween Parade will fill the streets of WHB with costumed kids, spooky sights and heaps of sweets on Friday, October 31st. The celebration begins at 3:15 p.m. at the Westhampton Beach Elementary School (340 Mill Road, Westhampton) and follows a route down Mill Road and Main Street, where the kids can trick-or-treat till 5 p.m. The event is put together by the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce, the Westhampton Beach Elementary School PTA, the Westhampton Beach Middle School PTO, the Quogue Elementary School PTA and the Remsenburg-Speonk Elementary School PTO.
7. Children of all ages, dressed in their best Halloween costumes, are invited to participate in the Hampton Bays Library’s Annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31st. Pre-registered families and children will parade through the Hampton Bays Public Library (52 Ponquogue Avenue, Hampton Bays, 631-728-6241, www.eventkeeper.com) and on the library lawn from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
