Google Maps Brings Pac-Man To The Hamptons

Leave it to the brilliant minds at Google to merge the usefulness of Google Maps with the fun and kitsch of Pac-Mac, one of the most beloved video games of all time. We test drove the new maps feature in the Hamptons, specifically in Sag Harbor where we ate our way down Clinton Street and back up Division Street before the dreaded ghosts got us.

Simply click over to Google Maps and type in an address or use the map to pick a starting point. The more streets the better – New York City is a great map to play Pac-Mac. If you map Springs, East Hampton, in Google’s opinion it is a bit sparse when it comes to streets however don’t dispair, Google gives you the “Feeling Lucky” option. Click and cross your fingers before the map zooms you to another corner of the world wiht plety of pack streets where you can play. We played in Paris and tested our luck London before succumbing around the Coliseum in Rome, a fitting end.
