Hudson City Savings Bank Of East Hampton Supports Hope Heels

On Wednesday, April 29th, Hudson City Savings Bank of East Hampton presented The Retreat, the East End’s only domestic service agency, with a check for $10,000 in support of Hope Heels. The financial literacy and self-sufficiency program offers career guidance and financial education to survivors of domestic abuse.

“The Retreat is honored to have the support of an institution as community-minded as Hudson City Savings Bank,” expressed Loretta K. Davis, Executive Director of The Retreat. “Our clients will significantly benefit from their generosity, learning to gain independence and develop skills which will serve them throughout their lives.”

The program’s mission is to assist survivors recognize and call upon their strengths, talents, and inherent motivations, so they can begin a maintainable career track, and also gain a complete understanding of personal finance and resources to become financial self-sufficient.
