All aboard the Viking Starship!
The Montauk Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to present its 1st annual Fireworks Cruise on Monday, July 4th at 7 p.m.
“We are very excited. Number one because it is our first time doing this Fireworks Cruise, never done before,” explained Laraine Creegan, Executive Director of the Montauk Chamber of Commerce. “As a not-for-profit organization, we are always trying to find ways to fund raise and this looks to be a great way and have lots of fun too with a cruise around the Point, music, dancing.”

Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner cruise around Montauk Point, with a unique vantage point of the 4th of July fireworks. Attendees will board The Viking at 6:45 p.m. and the display will begin at 9 p.m. Passengers should expect to return to the harbor around 10 p.m.
The dinner cruise includes all-inclusive beer, wine, and an all-American buffet dinner. The 3 B’s, a Montauk favorite, will also play live music throughout the evening.
Donations to the Montauk Chamber of Commerce would be greatly appreciated, as putting on an extravagant fireworks show is a large endeavor. “We are in the red by $13,700 and we need to make up for the cost of the show,” remarked Creegan. “Last year, we had one person make a large donation of $10,000 but we know this year that is not going to happen.” The fate of the beloved holiday weekend tradition may rest on a successful event. “If we come close to selling out just maybe we will get that much closed to paying for the fireworks, total cost is $20,400,” she added.
Admission to the 1st annual Fireworks Cruise is $75.
Note: this event is open to attendees 21 and older.
