The 7th Annual Dream Extreme will kick-off on Friday, September 16th with a weekend of activities including kiteboarding clinics, a Beachside Bash, dinner parties, and much more!
Dream Extreme is a charity event for Hour Children, an organization which helps incarcerated and formally incarcerated women and children successful rejoin the community, reunify with their families, and build healthy, independent and secure lives. Hour Children provides compassionate and comprehensive services and encourages all to live and interact with dignity and respect.
“Thanks to many supportive people over the past decade we’ve raised more than $25 million,” said founder of Dream Extreme, Linda Argila. Hour Children’s mission hits close to home for Argila. “In 2000 I was sentenced to a year and a day in federal prison, and painfully separated from my 9-year-old daughter Ashley,” she explained. “Although life-shattering, the experience also served as a catalyst for me, when I witnessed firsthand the way incarceration rips at the hearts of families.” Earlier this year, Argila helped launch the Year and A Day campaign benefiting Hour Children during a Kickoff Party Petaluma in New York City. “May 10th will be an exciting way to kick off A Year and A Day campaign while we celebrate the thousands of lives we’ve helped transform-offering children opportunities for a happier, healthier, and more productive future,” she added.

Dream Extreme’s Beachside Bash will take place on Saturday at Napeague Beach in East Hampton, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities will include kiteboarding clinics with pros like Brock Callen, Chris Stuckey, Alex Fox, Jonathan Beery, Jake Hoefler, Austin Waclo, Laurel Eastman and many more, stand-up paddle boarding, live music, fun and games, aerial artistry, massage and yoga. A Dinner Party and Auction will be held on Saturday evening from 7 to 11 p.m. at Union Cantina in Southampton.
This year’s Dream Extreme will celebrate Janna Bullock, Donna Coallier, and Simon Roads.
Ticket prices are dependent on the activities you desire to participate in. The Beach Bash Ticket is $200 and includes beach activities, observing the kiteboarding clinic, a BBQ lunch and live music. The Dinner and Auction Ticket costs $500 for preferred seating and $300 for general seating. This will include cocktails, dinner, an awards ceremony, silent auction, DJ, and dancing. The Light Breeze Sponsor is $1,500 for four Beach Bash tickets and four dinner party and auction tickets. The Light Breeze Ticket costs $450 for one Beach Bash ticket and one dinner and auction ticket.
