On Saturday, October 22nd, Amagansett Food Institute (AFI) will present its second annual Fall Festival at the Amagansett Farmers Market.
“The Amagansett Food Institute will join the community in celebrating the bounty of the fall harvest at our Second Annual Fall Festival,” said Kathleen Masters. “This event allows us to enjoy the fall season with some old fashioned fall fun for kids.”
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., commemorate local eats with AFI and take advantage of a myriad of delightful complimentary family-friendly autumn traditions – like apple bobbing, pumpkin carving and painting, fall games, and face painting – that will entertain all ages.
In addition to the amusing seasonal activities, several beloved fall foods will be available for purchase from local food purveyors and eateries. Joe & Liza’s Ice Cream will be serving up their delicious pumpkin ice cream, while The Mill House Inn will be offering up a variety of autumn inspired sweets, like caramel apples – which will be available in multiple add-on flavor combos, French macarons that highlight local fall flavors, fall cookie pops, and more.

The Vine Street Café food truck, Shelter Island’s first food truck, will also be onsite. Attendees can try artisanal all-beef hot dogs with hand-rolled brioche rolls, lobster rolls, chicken salad rolls, salads, vegan options and more.
Admission to the Fall Festival is free.
