The 4th annual Tuckahoe 5/10K Fun Run/Walk, benefiting the Tuckahoe Educational Foundation, will take place on Saturday, October 13.
“We want to bring the school and surrounding community together for a low stress and healthy event,” explained Sean Hattrick, creator of the run and a board member of the Tuckahoe School District.
The 5/10K starts and finishes at Tuckahoe School in Southampton. The picturesque, flat course will travel past Shinnecock, National, and Sebonac golf courses, as well as Cold Spring Pond, Spring Pond, Peconic Bay and Bull Head Bay.
“If you love to run, the location of our 5K/10K is amoung the prettiest you will find on the East End,” Hattrick noted.
The 10K includes a one mile beach run along Peconic Bay.
“This is a family friendly run that all fitness levels can participate in,” Hattrick added.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., while the 5/10K begins at 9 a.m.
Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children 13-years-old and younger.
