Looking for a festive affair to show off your impressive Halloween costume at?
The Hampton Library’s (2478 Main Street, Bridgehampton, hamptonlibrary.org) Annual Halloween Parade and Story will kick-off All Hallows’ Eve marches. Held on Saturday, October 27 at 10 a.m., little ones donning their Halloween best can gather at the Library for a festive tale followed by a journey through town to scare up some treats.
Greenport’s March of the Goblins & Hounds (www.greenportvillage.com) will travel from Floyd Memorial Library to Mitchell Park on Saturday, October 27. Commencing at 10 a.m., once little goblins and hounds arrive at the Park, attendees (which may include four-legged friends) may partake in exciting seasonal activities, such as a haunted maze, pumpkin painting, complimentary carousel rides for little ones, an agility course for dogs, and much more.
Little Lucy’s Canine Couture Boutique (www.facebook.com) will present its 18th annual Halloween Pet Parade, which will start at Agawam Park in Southampton, on Saturday, October 27. Registration begins at 1 p.m. and the stroll heads down Jobs Lane, Main Street, and then back to Agawam for an awards party. The festivities will include treats for both humans and their animal companions, raffle prizes, celebrity judges, award prizes from Little Lucy’s – for the best costumes, vendors, live music, and more. The registration fee is $10 per dog, which supports the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.

Sag Harbor Ragamuffin Parade (sagharborchamber.com) participants should gather at Nassau Street (between Urban Zen and the Laundromat) on Sunday, October 28, ready for a 1 p.m. parade start time. Attendees will head down Main Street to the Custom House Lawn where there will be family fun games, as well as homemade baked goods at the LVIS Bake Sale. All ages are invited to participate, as are pets. The Village’s Pumpkin Trail will take place on Halloween (Wednesday, October 31) from 3 to 5 p.m. Trick-or-treaters should look for pumpkin faces in the windows of the participating businesses, which will be sprinkled throughout Main Street and the Sag Harbor Village business district.
Southampton Chamber of Commerce’s 28th Annual Rag A Muffin Parade & Pumpkin Trail (southamptonchamber.com) will be held on Sunday, October 28 at 1 p.m. However, the excitement starts at 11:45 a.m. with autumnal fun, games and activities at Agawam Park in Southampton. The beloved trick-or-treat “Pumpkin Trail” will follow the parade and participating merchants will display a paper pumpkin in their window.
