Brendan Fallis, one of the most sought-after curators in the industry, is known around the globe for his distinct aesthetic, digital presence, and incredible taste. Among his many accomplishments, Brendan has been featured in GQ, Vogue, and Men’s Health as well as listed on Vanity Fair’s “Best Dressed” lists. Brendan sat down with Hamptons.com to discuss his new brand, Fallis Studios.
You recently launched Fallis Studios this Summer! How would you describe the design aesthetic for Fallis Studios?
Yes, very excited to bring the project to life! The aesthetic is a modern minimal play on classic designs.
As an experienced entrepreneur, what advice would you share with others looking to launch their own company or brand?
Don’t overthink it. It’s hard to get something from idea to reality and a big problem most have is conceptualizing forever and never putting anything out. You become your own worst enemy.
That being said, releasing something too soon can be problematic as well, but there will always be room for improvement. Once it’s out there, you can gauge how you and others feel and make moves from there. But be confident with what you’ve created!
Where do you find inspiration for your collection?
I move around a lot, visit lots of different homes of family/friends, cool hotels and stores. I just keep an eye out for things that inspire me from new to vintage and use those as touch points to begin my thought process of what I’d like to create and how it will look.
Can you share any new releases from Studio Fallis?
The next release will be lighters which I’m sure excited about. They are going to be a really limited edition, but I think everyone who’s able to get one will be super happy to own one.
You have been a successful DJ earlier in your career, do you have a favorite summer record for 2022?
So many! Music is still such a big part of my life. Right now, I’m loving Sticky by Drake. It’s on heavy rotation.
