A Memorial Day weekend Hamptons tradition, the annual Edie’s Backyard BBQ, was held at a private residence in Southampton. Hosted by Edie Windsor’s widow, Judith M. Kasen-Windsor and longtime friend Jimmy Mack, the afternoon will celebrate the legacy of the LGBTQ+ rights trailblazer, whose landmark case granted same-sex married couples federal recognition, while supporting the David E. Rogers, M.D. Center at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, soon to be named the Edie Windsor Center.
