Effortless Elegance for Summer with Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry

Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry is one of the most recognizable jewelry brands today, growing and evolving with every season since the beginning in 2013. Many celebrities and locals alike have been spotted showing off their Stephanie Gottlieb pieces, with customizable jewelry and individual expression at the forefront of the brand.

Stephanie has created a loyal following over the years due to her dedication, authenticity, and unique, irreplicable style. She discussed what sets her brand apart, some of her favorite pieces, and shares her jewelry style tips for the summer 2025 season.

With her newest collections launching this June, a Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry original piece is a must-have for a stylish summer in the Hamptons. Stephanie expressed that summer out East is for fun, freedom, slowing down the pace, and embracing comfort with jewelry that looks just as good as it feels.

What is the Stephanie Gottlieb jewelry brand all about?
Effortless Elegance for Summer with Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry

SG: At Stephanie Gottlieb, we’re redefining fine jewelry as something joyful and deeply personal. Whether it’s a custom engagement ring or your new favorite stacking piece, we
believe jewelry should be exciting, wearable, and expressive. I’ve always been drawn to
bold color, diamonds, and playful design—our pieces are meant to spark emotion and
celebrate individuality.

What have been your favorite creations so far?

SG: The Slider Bangle will always be a favorite. It’s our most versatile, customizable piece—and
while many have tried to replicate it, it remains a signature SG original. The bangle is an
iteration of the classic charm bracelet, done in a very wearable and stackable way without
the loud and heavy jangle of the charm bracelet as you know it. I wear mine every day!

Another standout is my ten-year anniversary gift from my husband, Brett—a diamond version
of our Candy Button ring. It was the first time we had made the piece with a diamond
center stone, and it holds so much sentimental value.

I would be remiss not to mention the Martini Ring. I designed this piece for my 37th birthday,
and it quickly became one of our most viral designs. It’s bold, celebratory, and very “me.” It always elicits a response from people who see it, and it starts a dialogue; this is one of the
special things that a unique piece of jewelry can do!

What’s your go-to piece of jewelry for summer?

SG: The Olivia Y Lariat is a summer essential. It’s effortless, sexy, and incredibly versatile—perfect with everything from a swimsuit to a button-down. We recently expanded the Olivia Y
collection to include anklets, bracelets, and belly chains—fun, flirty additions that bring a
fresh, playful take to wearing diamonds.

Can you discuss some of your new arrivals and what collections are in for summer?

SG: Summer is a season we approach with a sense of fun and freedom. We’ve just launched
new colorful enamel pieces that are bright, stackable, and made to mix. We’ve also
expanded our beaded necklace collection with fresh colorways designed for
layering—perfect for that laid-back summer look with a luxury twist.

Can you tell us about your bespoke rings, bridal collections, and personalized jewelry?

SG: Custom and bridal jewelry are at the heart of our brand. We believe that jewelry should tell
your story. From engagement rings to meaningful heirloom redesigns, we involve our clients
in every step of the process. Every detail matters, from sourcing the perfect stone to
engraving a hidden message. No two love stories are alike, and neither are the pieces we
create to celebrate them.

What is one key factor that sets Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry apart from other jewelry brands?

SG: We bring a sense of personality and playfulness to fine jewelry. Every piece is designed to
feel elevated but approachable—there’s always a twist, whether in the styling, the use of
color, or the way we connect with our clients. We like to say we make jewelry that feels as
good as it looks.

How do the Hamptons and New York inspire your designs?

SG: New York gives us energy—bold silhouettes, clean lines, confident design. The Hamptons
offer contrast: a slower pace, a softer polish. That duality really comes through in our collections. We create fine jewelry that’s as comfortable worn barefoot on the beach as it is
in the city—it’s about effortless glamour.

Can you discuss your background and what went into starting Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry?

SG: I began my career in New York’s Diamond District, gaining hands-on experience in both
diamonds and manufacturing. It gave me a strong foundation, but I also saw a gap in the
market—there weren’t many women designing custom jewelry for women. I started
Stephanie Gottlieb to bring a more personal, inclusive, and joyful approach to fine jewelry.
What began as a small bridal business has evolved into a full lifestyle brand—and I’ve loved
growing it alongside my own personal journey.

What are you most looking forward to in the Hamptons for the 2025 season?

SG: The Hamptons give me space to slow down and recharge. After a fast-paced year in the
city, I look forward to spending more time at the house, at the beach, with my kids, and
letting my creativity flow. Some of my best ideas have come to me out East—it’s where I
feel most inspired and refreshed.

Can your brand be found in any physical locations on the East End?

SG: We’ve had several exciting pop-ups in the Hamptons over the years, and we’re always
exploring new opportunities to connect with our community out East. Stay tuned!

What has been the biggest factor in your success?

SG: Authenticity. I’ve always stayed true to who I am, and I think that’s reflected in the brand. I
share my world—my love of design, my family, my values—and our clients respond to that honesty. Equally important has been building the right team. Surrounding myself with
people I trust has allowed me to focus on the creative vision and keep pushing the brand
forward in exciting new ways.

Have any of your clients shared standout stories about their experiences with SG jewelry?

SG: Absolutely. One of the most rewarding parts of this job is hearing how meaningful our pieces become. Whether it’s an engagement ring that symbolizes a new chapter or a
custom necklace honoring a loved one, we’re constantly reminded that jewelry holds deep
emotional value to those who wear it. It’s more than just a beautiful object—it’s a memory,
a milestone, a moment captured forever.

One of my favorite stories was a client who adds a charm to her Slider Bangle with each important milestone–when she got pregnant (the first and second time she selected their birthstones), when she got a promotion at work and added a diamond charm to her Slider, a croissant charm to celebrate a big trip she took to Paris; this is exactly how the jewelry was designed, to grow with the wearer, and to be a reflection of their story and journey. I love that we get to play such a meaningful role in our clients’ lives.

Can you share your top jewelry style tips for the summer season?
Effortless Elegance for Summer with Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry

SG: Summer is the time to play. Layer it all—necklaces, bracelets, anklets, belly chains. Mix your
metals. Add color. Wear diamonds to the beach (just be smart about it)! I’m all for
unexpected pairings—a tennis necklace with a tank top, a bold ring stack at a backyard
BBQ. Jewelry should be fun and lived in—not saved for evening occasions.

This New York-based actor and comedian opened up to Hamptons.com about the show, her journey in the business, and more in this exclusive interview.

Could you please tell us about your history with the SCC?

My history with the Southampton Cultural Center has been a rewarding one. I was first involved with the SCC when I did a summer college internship there in 2011. Michael Disher was directing a production of Working: A Musical and graciously offered me the opportunity to act in the musical, along with stage managing the show and being his assistant as well. I absolutely loved working with him and the rest of the cast. It was a wonderful experience and I learned so much. Then, after graduating from Connecticut College with a BA in Theater and the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University with an MFA in Acting, I was so happy to return to the SCC to perform in their production of Crimes of the Heart directed by Joan Lyons. I was so fortunate to play Babe and work yet again with such an incredible group of actors. Subsequently, in 2018, I was cast as Annie Sullivan in Boots on the Ground Theater’s production of The Miracle Worker at the SCC. Portraying Annie and working with a phenomenally talented cast was a true highlight of my career as an actress. My latest acting project at the SCC was in their 2019 production of the musical Mamma Mia!. That was another fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and develop my craft. Now I am so proud to say that I am currently teaching acting classes at the SCC to both children and adults. I am so grateful to have returned yet again to the SCC in this new capacity. Therefore, my history with the SCC has been a complex and joyful one.

  • Rosebud Baker is a writer, actress, and comedian whose sharp wit and dark humor have earned her a devoted fan base. Her hilarious show this past summer at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center had the entire theater in stitches.

Since beginning her stand-up career in 2014, Baker has performed nationwide, drawing inspiration from her own life to craft her signature style of dark comedy. She has written for comedy shows, including That Damn Michael Che and Saturday Night Live, and has appeared in Roku Channel’s Will Smith–produced series This Joka as well as Hulu’s comedy-drama Life & Beth. You can catch her on the Rosebud Baker Live tour.

Rosebud sat down with Hamptons.com to talk about her writing process, stand-up, and the Hamptons.

How did the nickname “Rosebud” come about?

I’m not actually sure — several people in my family have taken credit for it, which makes them unreliable narrators. I can only assume that my parents wanted something unique but Southern-gothic enough that I’d either become a writer or haunt an old house. I think I’ve managed a little of both.

  • In Southampton Village, where the streets are charted as much by memory as by map, the Van Brunt House has long been a defining landmark. On Elm Street amid the hedges and measured façades, you can still feel the trace of horse-drawn carriages and Gilded Age sophistication—a continuity honored in the now restored Van Brunt home located at 121 Elm Street.

Following a museum-caliber renewal, the Van Brunt House regains its original presence as an enduring testament to architectural integrity and cultural legacy. Not a remake but a return—a traditional foundation reconciled with today’s lifestyle, its inspiration made durable.

Now artfully restored and represented exclusively by The Oakley-Leicht Team, the Van Brunt House reclaims its place among the Village’s most iconic homes. A treasure for its next owner and a testament to the character of Southampton Village.
