Eric Ripert And Francois Payard Compete In Montauk Pétanque Tournament

The annual Pétanque tournament at Duryea’s Lobster Deck brought out several notable competitors – such as Eric Ripert and Francois Payard. Teams from Sunset Beach, The Beacon, Baron’s Cove, Lulu Kitchen, Le Bernardin, Biblioquet, Felix and more competed. In the end, it was Sunset Beach who earned bragging rights. Proceeds from the event benefited A Walk on Water, who provides surf therapy to children with special needs or disabilities. A Walk on Water is hosting its annual East​ ​Coast​ ​Surf​ ​Therapy​ ​Event at Ditch​ ​Plains​ ​Beach​ in Montauk on Friday, September 7 and Saturday, September 8.
