Amagansett Life-Saving Station to Host Annual Tree-Lighting and Toy Drive
The Amagansett Life-Saving & Coast Guard Station Museum will celebrate the holiday season with its 3rd Annual Tree-Lighting on Saturday, December 13, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., at the historic station on Atlantic Avenue.
Guests are invited to enjoy a festive afternoon featuring free arts and crafts, hot chocolate, cookies, and holiday music, leading up to the tree-lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. sharp. The event is being held in partnership with the East Hampton Kiwanis Toy Drive, and attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to help support local children in need.
This family-friendly gathering celebrates both the spirit of the season and the museum’s ongoing mission to preserve the rich maritime history of the Amagansett Life-Saving Station.
The museum is located at 160 Atlantic Avenue, Amagansett, and is typically open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., May through October. Docent-led tours are available during open hours or by appointment.
