Montauk Point State Park Hike

Join us for a relaxed-pace hike on an out-and-back portion of Montauk Point State Park.
We will be meeting at the EAST Overlook on the south side of Montauk Highway just past Deep Hollow Ranch.
BE ADVISED: the first .4-mile is a steep downhill that is narrow and eroded in spots and includes a few steep drops. As this is an out-and-back-hike, you will be finishing the hike on the same trail, this time on a steep uphill. This hike is for people who are comfortable with negotiating tricky areas. The remaining part of the hike is fine. You will get to see and be at Oyster Pond.
Be sure to enjoy the spectacular views at the overlook.
