Shakedown Citi at The Stephen Talkhouse

A new and exciting face on the JamBand landscape, Shakedown Citi was formed in the Shakedown lot at Citi Field in 2023 as the musicians met each other for the first time and knew there was something special going on.  

Each song is a journey that can take new directions, twists and turns at any time while still channeling the original style of the Grateful Dead.  If you’re a discerning Head looking for a transcendental musical experience tapping an expansive repertoire and magical set lists – or you’re just looking to shake your bones – Shakedown Citi is definitely your jam.

SHAKEDOWN CITI is at the very, very top of Grateful Dead tribute bands I have ever seen.  The band combines the highest levels of seasoned musicianship, sublime vocals and outstanding jams.  Their playing reminds me of the peak years of Grateful Dead.  It’s that good!!!
