Teen Play Project – Ten Minute Plays! (Ages 13–17)
Work as an ensemble. Build real acting skills. Perform for an audience.This two-week performance intensive invites teens to rehearse and perform a series of ten-minute plays chosen specifically for the group. From first read to final presentation, students experience the full rehearsal process while sharpening their craft.Participants will explore character development, script analysis, listening, truthful moment-to-moment acting, and making bold, specific choices onstage. Through table work, theatre games, and guided rehearsal, students will strengthen ensemble skills, build confidence, and learn how to tell powerful stories in a short format.The structure of ten-minute plays allows students to explore a variety of characters and styles while working collaboratively as a company.The program culminates in a final presentation for family and friends on May 8.
