Robert Viagas’ well-researched talk and videos will shed light on the impressive array of entertainments that were popular in the late 18th century in order to humanize the eminent giants who founded the United States 250 years ago. Robert Viagas, author and lecturer about theatre, film—and ghosts – spent 24 years as managing editor of Playbill. He is also the author of 23 books with two more on the way. In addition, he has given lectures on theatre-related topics at several Long Island colleges and libraries – including two presentations at the Montauk Library.
