On Saturday, August 29th, Kenny Pribil Sr., along with Jason Sardo and Alex von Salad, are hosting the 2015 Hamptons Chef Rib-Off BBQ Pool Party. Taking place at the Southampton home of Kenny “the Prince” Pribil Sr., proceeds from the afternoon will support the Ken Pribil Jr. Foundation for Sarcoma Cancer.
The event will showcase the rib skills of executive chefs from notable Hamptons eateries, with celebrity judges Dan McDonald (“Evita” and “An American in Paris” producer), Barbara K (DIYVA by Barbara K) and Rocco Ancarola (founding member of the Pink Elephant franchise and partner at NYC’s LAVO Restaurant/Club) having the final say on who makes the best version of the BBQ fave. Attendees will also enjoy poolside music from reggae band Reverb Nation and DJ Twilo, rosé from Chateau Saint Mur, and Southampton Publick House’s KPA, a special ale brewed specifically for the event.
Rib-Off contestants will include Jordan Andino, (Harlow East, Food Network’s “Chopped” and “Beat Bobby Flay”), Matthew Boudreau (Baron’s Cove), Anthony Russo (Hampton LadyBeach Bar and Grill), Marco Barrila (Insatiable EATS) and Chef Alex von Salad.

“My ribs are so insatiable that you won’t want to give up your bone after,” said Chef Marco Barrila.
Tickets are $75 per person. The BBQ Pool Party will take place from 2 to 6 p.m.
Founded in 20006, the Ken Pribil Jr. Foundation commemorates the life of Kenny Pribil through educational scholarships, cancer awareness and community gatherings.
