The Amagansett Food Institute (AFI) is hosting a “Buy Local, Give Local” Holiday Market at the Amagansett Farmers Market. This is the perfect place to buy one-of-a-kind items to give friends and family during the Holidays. This Holiday Market is in support of Small Business Saturday, which aims to promote small producers and food businesses along the East End. AFI is hoping to support the action of buying local goods.
Join the community on Saturday, November 26th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Amagansett Farmers Market where vendors will be set up selling locally crafted items. A few of the vendors include Amagansett Sea Salt Co., Anke’s Fit Bakery, Bonac Bees, Browder’s Birds, Bulgar USA, A Taste of the North Fork, Of Sea and Sand, Peconic River Preserves, Petal by Pedal, Vino Bisco, and many more.
“Our goal with the Holiday Market is to give people the opportunity to access great local products all in one place,” remarked Kathleen Masters, Executive Director of AFI. “We hope to promote the idea of buying local and giving local this holiday season.”
The Amagansett Farmers Market will be offering 50 percent off all shelf-stable products for this final weekend! There will also be a variety of holiday gift baskets made from local products. Be sure to grab a few products made at their South Fork Kitchens food incubator in Southampton! Don’t forget to stop by the Amagansett Wine Stand that will be open for purchases throughout the day.
