Beloved Montauk Eateries Offering Up Delicious Bites During “A Taste Of Montauk”

Lovers of food, wine and craft brew will unite for the Montauk Chamber of Commerce’s 5th annual A Taste of Montauk on Sunday, July 23, at 6 p.m. The event is being held at the Montauk Yacht Club, under a tent on the Great Lawn with a breathtaking view of Lake Montauk.

“Montauk isn’t just a place you see, it’s a place to taste,” explained Laraine Creegan, Executive Director of the Chamber. “We are a culinary destination for farm-and sea-fresh-to-your table offerings and waterfront dining. With many notable restaurants, chefs, East End wineries and a craft brewery, ‘A Taste of Montauk’ brings them under one roof for one great party.”

This year’s participating restaurants will include Coast Kitchen at Montauk Yacht Club, Backyard Restaurant @ Solé East, Tillie’s at Gurney’s Montauk, The Saltbox, East by Northeast, Joni’s, 668 The Gig Shack, Surfside Inn Restaurant, Westlake Fish House, Arbor, Duryea’s Lobster Deck and Swallow East, while attendees can enjoy sips from are Montauk Brewing Company, Martha Clara Vineyards, Pindar Vineyards, Duck Walk Vineyard, Bedell Cellars and Osprey’s Dominion.

“We enjoy participating in the Taste of Montauk annually as it is a wonderful way to show off our restaurant to the community,” shared Dave Ceva, owner of Solé East. “As well we truly appreciate that it focuses on the culinary talent in Montauk.”

“We are excited to participate in Taste of Montauk,” added Pierre Sudre, General Manager of Arbor. “It is especially a highlight for our restaurant to be part of the Montauk restaurant community and showcase our best to those who attend.”

The party will also include live music by the classic rock band and local favorite, Lynn Blue Band.

Tickets to A Taste of Montauk are $75 in advance and $85 at the door, if available. All proceeds benefit the Montauk Chamber of Commerce and its initiatives for the community.
