Calissa, The Mykonos Of The Hamptons, Hosting Series Of US Open Outdoor Viewing Parties In Partnership With Grey Goose

There’s nothing quite as magical as dinner at Calissa, a Greek and seafood restaurant. The owners have perfectly mastered the ambiance making it feel like the Mykonos of the Hamptons. The name Calissa comes from the brightest constellation in the summer sky. The outdoor patio is adorned with hanging lights and diners enjoy beautiful sunsets over delicious dishes.

The restaurant boasts an award-winning wine selection and uniquely named cocktails. The outdoor patio is equipped to host 100 guests while the indoor space can host 65. There are live music performances every weekend as well as perfectly curated playlists to set the mood every night of the week.

“My partners introduced new music, design elements and menu items to Calissa this year. Perhaps my favorite compliment is when customers exclaim ‘wow, it’s just like being in Greece.’ Sometimes it is a couple who canceled a honeymoon or a family that could not visit their grandparents. Last week, we had three different tables join us from Astoria in one night. As much as I like our restaurant, they didn’t need to drive two hours for Greek food. They came to satisfy their Cycladic/Mykonos fix. That speaks louder than anything I could ever say,” said Calissa owner James Mallios.

Calissa is pleased to welcome their new Bazaar this summer which is open Thursday through Sunday until Halloween. There is a Caravana Pop Up Shop direct from Tulum, a Farmer’s Market with Cascun Farms, Jimmy’s Food Truck serving gyros and salads and a special Whispering Angel rose menu and games like Bocce, Ping Pong and Cornhole.

The special features at Calissa continue as they host a series of US Open outdoor viewing parties for the Semi Finals and Finals from September 10 through 13, in partnership with Grey Goose. The US Open’s signature Honey Deuce cocktail made with Grey Goose, Lemonade and Raspberry Liqueur that’s garnished with a honeydew in the shape of a tennis ball will be served on tap in an official US Open commemorative glass that guests are invited to take home.
