From a classic flute of Veuve Clicquot to a more daring bubbly option, here are five New Year’s themed cocktails to celebrate the start of 2015.
1. A flute of chilled Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne, which is available at Herbert & Rist Inc. (63 Jobs Lane, Southampton).

Directions: Add all ingredients to a shaker over ice to chill. Shake, strain and pour into a shot glass rimmed with cinnamon and sugar. Serve in a shot glass.
3. That Thyme of Year: (Created by Garrett Farber)
Directions: Muddle the thyme, simple syrup, and gin in a shaker. Add elderflower liqueur, shake, double strain into a coupe glass or champagne flute, add sparkling wine. Stir, garnish with a thyme sprig.
4. Firework Fizzler:
Directions: In a cocktail shaker with ice, add Trianon Blanco Tequila and raspberry liqueur. Shake and strain into a Champagne flute and top with Champagne. Garnish with raspberries and serve.

5. Adam and Eve:
Directions: Combine Calvados, cider, orange bitters, and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly. Place sugar cube in a wine flute, strain into glass, and top with Prosecco.
