In every community, there are organizations that quietly transform lives, places where children are nurtured, opportunities are created, and the future is shaped in ways that ripple far beyond a single moment. For our community, that place is Project MOST.
Project MOST is far more than an after-school program. It is a community gem with a powerful mission: enriching the whole child. Through thoughtful programming that supports academic growth, creativity, physical activity, and social-emotional development, Project MOST gives children opportunities they might not otherwise have access to. For many families, it’s the difference between simply getting through the day and truly thriving as Project Most is designed around a working day, offering many of its special programs, after school, weekends and during school breaks. This way parents can confidently focus at work knowing their children are being nurtured, engaged, challenged and most importantly having fun!
What makes Project MOST so special is its commitment not just to the children it serves today, but to the leaders of tomorrow.
One of the most inspiring aspects of the organization is its commitment to “growing our own.” Project MOST employs the largest number of high school students and recent graduates in our community. Many of these young people once sat in the very same programs they now help lead. They return as mentors, role models, and leaders for the next generation of children coming through the doors.
Even more remarkable is what happens next. Many of these young leaders go on to work in local schools, continuing to shape and support young lives. It’s a beautiful cycle: children are supported, they grow into leaders, and they return to serve their community. In a world where communities often struggle to retain young talent, Project MOST is cultivating it.
As a board member, I have the privilege of seeing the impact of this work firsthand. I’ve watched children gain confidence, discover new passions, and build meaningful relationships with mentors who truly care about their success. I’ve seen teenagers step into leadership roles and realize their potential to influence others in powerful ways.
Simply put, Project MOST changes lives.
And when we support Project MOST, we’re doing more than funding programs, we’re investing in our future.
Children are the future of our community. When we give them access to enriching experiences, strong mentors, and safe spaces to learn and grow, we are building a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.
That’s why I’m proud to support Project MOST, and why I invite you to join me.
This summer, Project MOST will host its annual fundraiser, an important event that helps ensure these programs remain accessible to the children and families who need them most. Becoming a sponsor is one of the most meaningful ways you can make a difference. Your support directly fuels programs, opportunities, and mentorship that shape the lives of young people in our community.
If you believe in investing in the next generation, if you believe that every child deserves the chance to grow, explore, and succeed, then Project MOST is an organization worth supporting.
Together, we can continue to nurture the leaders, educators, and community builders of tomorrow.
Join us. Become a sponsor for our annual summer fundraiser and help ensure that the cycle of opportunity continues for years to come.
Because when we invest in children, we invest in the future and Project MOST is helping build one that we can all be proud of.
