I didn’t really know this, but you can go to La Parmigiana for a real sit-down dinner and have incredible, authentic Italian food cooked by Italians who have owned the restaurant for the last 46 years.
La Parmigiana is legit.
I went with my wife and two-year-old, and my friend’s wife and two-year-old, and sat down in the main dining area. Immediately I was a little confused because I always thought this place was a regular pizza place. But no, IT’S BOTH. La Parmigiana is a scene from the Italian restaurant in every way shape and form.
The other thing that is good about this place is its unpretentiousness. You’re not looking at a $45 plate of bolognaise here. Almost everything on the menu is under $20, making it a great place for families and locals on a budget. Even so, it’s a must-go for anyone interested in getting authentic Italian fare in the Hamptons. The entire family works here, and they are committed to making it a wonderful experience that will make them proud.
We decided on getting a margarita pizza, a bottle of red wine, penne a la vodka, a Greek salad and the chicken parmigiana. When we got the salad, I was so happy; it was enough for two people, even three people if everyone shares lightly. And when our food came out, I was overwhelmed with not just the quality of the food, but with the abundance. Be prepared to bring a take-home bag.
The place is always busy because of its appeal to the masses, which makes it so much fun to be at. The restaurant space is huge, but there is a coziness to the restaurant that is created by design. When you eat at this restaurant you feel excited to be there and all you want to do is talk and smile.
I will 100 percent be back. Probably weekly. We loved it.
