Flywheel Opening Summer Pop-Up In Southampton

This summer, Flywheel is adding another Hamptons Town to their East End reach. Located in the heart of the Village, Flywheel Southampton will offer their beloved indoor cycling classes at 33 Hill Street, the former location of Evolution Fitness. Led by motivating NYC instructors, the pop-up will be open 7 days a week, through Labor Day.

“As a Sag Harbor resident, I truly have a love affair with the Hamptons, especially during summer,” shared Flywheel co-founder Ruth Zukerman. “I’ve been teaching indoor cycling out east for 15 years, and nothing has made me happier than bringing the Flywheel experience to East Hampton and Sag Harbor.” The Flywheel co-founder and instructor is excited to add Southampton to Flywheel’s list of locations. “This June, I’m thrilled to give our riders even more ways to Fly with the debut of our Southampton pop-up studio,” expressed Zukerman. “Many of our NYC loyalists spend their summers in Southampton and points west.”

Boasting over 50 bikes, the new studio will not have the traditional Flywheel stadium-style seating, but it will still feature the premium FLY experience, complete with complimentary amenities like shoes, water and towels. Riders will also have access to complimentary parking, lockers and showers, and the new Flywheel retail collections.

“There is now no reason for any of them to travel further than Hill Street, Southampton for their Flywheel ride,” noted Zukerman. “I’m also looking forward to introducing the method to many new fitness enthusiasts over the next three months.”

Riders will be able to book their bikes for the week online or on Flywheel’s iOS app, when the booking window opens on Sundays at 5 p.m.

It was also a busy winter for the other two Hamptons Flywheel locations. The East Hampton studio, which features both Flywheel and FlyBarre, received a mini-makeover including a new sound system, co-ed lockers and an addition to their retail lifestyle section. The Sag Harbor Gym (where the Sag Harbor Flywheel studio is located) also received a renovated to its lockers and showers.
