Gurney’s Montauk And Lifeway Foods, Inc. Hosting Hamptons YogaFest

Lifeway Foods, Inc., a leading kefir supplier, has joined forces with Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa for a month-long kefir and wellness partnership.

Throughout July, Gurney’s will host a series of Lifeway-sponsored wellness activities, with the premier event taking place on Saturday, July 11th, starting at 9:30 a.m. YogaFest, Lifeway’s traveling yoga, music and wellness initiative, will bring together local talent and participants for a morning of relaxation, as they raise funds for worthy organizations and institutions. Attendees will enjoy fun, fitness and educational activities, including beachside yoga, guided meditation and live music. Participants can refuel and relax with healthy bites and drinks, like refreshing Lifeway kefir smoothies and delicious specialty cocktails.

After the yoga and meditation sessions, Lifeway President and CEO Julie Smolyansky will lead a live kefir cooking demonstration, which will be followed by a wellness panel. Featured guest speakers include Candice Kumai and Nitika Chopra, and Suzie Baleson, co-founder of the Wellthily advocacy and event planning company for healthy travelers, will moderate the discussion. Proceeds raised from YogaFest will support Test400k, Smolyansky’s non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating the backlog of the estimated 400,000 untested rape kits in the U.S.

Admission is a suggested donation of $15 and all YogaFest attendees will receive a wellness-inspired swag bag, including a yoga mat and more.
