On Saturday, August 20th, Bandier, Juice Press and Republic Records will join forces again to present the 2nd annual Southampton Sweat event at the outdoor Southampton Arts Center field.
“Southampton Sweat functions as the nexus of my passions, bringing together music, juice, fashion, and wellness via partnerships with the likes of Juice Press, Bandier, and Republic Records who proudly presented the first-ever Music & Fitness Festival,” explained Founder Leah Landon, who set out to create a fitness festival that combines music, fashion, and health. “It carries the spirit of a traditional music festival, but focuses on health and wellness.”

From 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., attendees can partake in free fitness classes that feature the hottest workouts, whether you want to find your Zen during yoga or prefer something a little more intense like a bootcamp. 2016 featured sessions will include AKT, The Class by Taryn Toomey, The Fhitting Room, Barry’s Bootcamp, Akin’s Army, Dogpound, Tonehouse, SLT, 305 Fitness, Ripped Fitness, Plush Fitness, Y7 Yoga and New York Pilates. Participants can pre-register for just one of the complimentary 30 minute classes or really push themselves by signing up for several. Along with the fitness showcase, Southampton Sweat will include music from Republic Records’ DJ Prince Fox, massages, Bandier promotions, rehydration with the Juice Press and more.
Landon, who spent a decade in the music industry as a manager for the likes of Eve, Fat Joe, and Kelis, wanted to find the “most relevant and inspiring brands throughout boutique fitness” and provide festival-goers with an entire day of physical activity that they can curate themselves and also highlight active fashion, as well as commemorate the Juice Press lifestyle. Following her time in the music industry, Landon, who also played a vital part in launching Lady Gaga’s career, transitioned into the world of wellness. She currently works as Vice President, Brand Experience for Juice Press, and is also a certified yoga, spin, and Pilates instructor and health coach. With a Masters in Clinical Social Work, she remains dedicated to “carrying the message of finding peace in both the body and mind.”
