INTERVIEW: beRevolutionarie Instructors, Katie Sandler And Bryna Carracino, Discuss The Value Of The Online Fitness Streaming Service

Sydney A. Braatby Sydney A. Braat
in Entertainment
Home Entertainment

Many things have changed over the past few months, one of them being your usual workout routine. In your “old life” you may have gone to a few spin, yoga, HIIT, or pilates classes throughout the week, but in today’s world that’s all a bit far off in the future. beRevolutionarie was founded to connect with individuals in their homes and encourage a healthy mind, body, and soul. This membership-based streaming service is likely the future of fitness as health-conscious individuals strive to maintain structure in their lives.

beRevolutionarie’s slogan is “transform your mind, body and soul – digitally.” The team recommends taking 3-4 classes per week on the platform, alternating between cardio + strength training and yoga + mindfulness to balance out your mind and body. It’s important to be physically fit as well as mentally.

There is an array of classes offered on the beRevolutionarie platform, including sculpt, yoga, HIIT, dance cardio, cardio boxing, indoor cycling, mindfulness coaching, meditation, and nutrition.

We spoke with Katie Sandler and Bryna Carracino of beRevolutionarie to learn more about her classes and the platform.

Why have you chosen to work with the beRevolutionarie platform?

KS: Sometimes the stars align, and you’re called to be a part of something bigger – that’s why I said yes to this opportunity – I dig its purpose. I never aspired to be a part of something like ‘this’ – I’m more of a solo artist who supports and cheers from the sidelines, but intuition told me this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass-up, and I’m glad I didn’t. I am genuinely excited and honored to be a part of a supportive, transformative, and impactful platform which emphasizes the health and wholeness of mind, body, and soul – a movement we need now more than ever.”

BC: I wanted to be part of a community/platform that was connecting on every level in wellness. Where it wasn’t just about fitness. Where it was about mindset, nutrition, balanced fitness videos, spirituality and a platform where any woman could go to truly be supported by a group of diverse experts leading from love, light and strength.

As the world continues to evolve and we must alter the ways we exercise, what’s your biggest tips on staying motivated?

KS: We must continue to tend to ourselves through mindful movement and exercise, and if you haven’t started it’s never too late. Becoming familiar with your motivations, in general, is essential to staying healthy and living YOUR best life. Health looks different for all of us. beRevolutionarie offers a variety of outlets and opportunities to practice healthy living. It’s ideal to find a realistic form of exercise which works best for you – one you’re most motivated to engage in and thus likely to stick with. I often ask clients, ‘on a scale of 1-10 how important is exercise?’ to them, because if their rating is below a 5 then chances are the exercise is not going to happen. And we pivot, asking, ‘what does health look like and how do you get there?’ If you set yourself up for something that you’re not motivated to do, then you’re reinforcing a negative experience. So, pick something realistic for YOU that YOU enjoy. Ask yourself, which type of exercise are you most likely to perform and go from there. Set yourself up for success by enjoying your form of exercise – don’t subscribe to someone else’s – there is no right or wrong way as long as you’re moving and grooving in a safe and self-loving way.

BC: It really comes down to how we speak to ourselves everyday and the rituals we keep day in and day out. A great way to start the day on a strong positive note is to write. Write out three things you’re grateful for. Then write down three I AM’s. Then sit and meditate for 15/20 minutes. I love Deepak Chopra’s 21-day meditation challenges. He has such a beautiful way of speaking to you but also gets you thinking way after the meditation is over. If we shape our internal dialogue into being more aware then that will help promote healthier, more open minded choices overall. Especially with exercise.

Why are you passionate about fitness and what is your favorite part about being an instructor?

KS: I’m not a fitness instructor, but I’m passionate about physical and mental fitness because it’s essential to being a good human and ultimately living a purposeful and fulfilled life. Fitness empowers resilience, a high quality of life, and so much more. It has helped me in my personal journey and I’ve watched its’ importance and impact in others journeys’ -it’s kind of hard to not be passionate about it.

BC: I was raised by a family for who most of my adolescent life was battling addiction and mental illness, and, for most of my 20’s and early thirties battled with both myself. I struggled for a long time. I tried AA. NA. I felt like I needed a more balanced community. I found the fitness community as my recovery and as my rehab. I realized there that I deserved more and that living an active life, healthy life was my AA. I also realized that through my recovery my sole purpose was to help serve. As a trainer. As a coach. As an instructor. As a mentor. As an educator.

What are your tips for diversifying workouts? Do you have a schedule that you follow for cardio, yoga, HIIT, etc. that you find helps to keep that perfect “balance?”

KS: Striking a balance is a funny and personal concept. For me, I find what my body likes, what my mind, and what I like are all a bit different – especially depending on the day, my mood, and of course the injury of the month – haha. I have to regularly compromise my movement and what exercise looks like for me as a result of physical and medical limitations. But when I find something that works, ignites my soul, and makes me feel good – I stick with it. One way I diversify is by looking for small and measurable challenges, maybe it’s doing more squats or performing a new exercise – whatever, it is, it reinforces my ability to seek and face new challenges in my daily life and develop strength and psychological flexibility. Meaning, you can face most hurdles life throws your way and the sky’s the limit. Another method of mine is to pick different instructors, which keeps some spice in the mix. beRev has a mix of instructors and they all give a little something different – it’s pretty hard to get bored with the beautiful faces and diversity of ways to care for your mind, body, and soul. Remember, we can exercise our hearts, minds, souls, and beings just as much as we can exercise our bodies and beRev holds space for that.

BC: For my private clients I set them up on a balanced weekly fitness prescription.

  • 3 times a week of conditioning/strength training with me.
  • 2 times a week of cardio. An indoor or outdoor run or an indoor or outdoor bike ride.
  • 1 to 2 times a week of restorative. Usually yoga.
  • 7 days a week of SMR/foam roll and theragun trigger point therapy.

Do you have anything exciting planned for your workout community either on or off the beRevolutionarie platform?

KS: I do! The Impact Retreats for 2021 and 2022, which include some wonderful locations like Portugal, Marrakech, Colorado, Italy, and The Hamptons… Bryna, one of our wonderful beRev Founding Instructors and I will be hosting a retreat together, we’re looking forward to sharing those details in the near future!

BC: Yes! My beRevolutionarie videos are always about mindful flow but especially July’s videos. This month I’ve added a kettlebell swing tutorial and a super fun rehab conditioning flow. I’m also planning a very special retreat in 2021 with one of my expert beRev lovelies Katie Sandler! I’m so excited so please stay tuned!

We’re all bombarded with New Year, New Me posts on Instagram and TikTok as health takes center stage in everyone’s 2026 goals. Many choose to participate in ā€œDry January,ā€ a challenge that encourages participants to take a break from alcohol. Non-alcoholic alternatives are also a great option for those who want to join the bar crawl without the stigma of holding a water bottle. With help from our friends at Kidd Squid Brewery, we sampled a variety of options at their tasting room in Sag Harbor. Here are our top picks.

1. Wölffer Estate: Spring in a Bottle Rose

You can’t go anywhere in the Hamptons without grabbing a glass of Wolffer’s iconic RosĆ©. Don’t fret! You can still enjoy the iconic, vibrant, fruity taste with their non-alcoholic version.

Tasting notes: It’s no surprise that it is a favorite in The Hamptons. The lack of alcohol doesn’t affect the rich, elegant rose, peach, and apple notes. This is a delicious, fresh, sparkling rosĆ©.

2. Hedlum

Is a locally owned company that produces crispy non-alcoholic beers that perfectly mirror their alcoholic counterparts. I tried their Easy Down Lager, and it was perfect!

Tasting notes: It pours out like a beer with a nice frothy top layer. It is crisp and smooth and reminds me of a Sapporo.

3. Aplós

Another locally owned company that produces non-alcoholic drinks crafted by award-winning mixologists. I fell in love with their credo, ā€œLife should be sipped slowly.ā€ I tried their Chili Margarita and loved the sparkling citrus notes with a bit of a kick. It’s infused with adaptogens and nootropics, which are thought to reduce stress, elevate your mood, and overall just deliver that perfect chill for any social setting.

Tasting notes: Crisp and tangy, with very strong citrus notes, this reminded me of kombucha. It was very refreshing.

    • When Jesse Bongiovi launched Hampton Water Wine Co. with his dad, Jon Bon Jovi, in 2018, he helped redefine what modern rosĆ© could look and feel like—sun-soaked, effortless, and rooted in moments shared with the people you love.

Now, with the growth of Lily Pond Group, he’s expanding that vision far beyond the bottle. Influenced by years spent in the Hamptons’ uniquely relaxed and refined culture, Jesse’s approach to brand-building is all about capturing a feeling: the blend of ease, taste, and connection that defines a perfect summer day out East.

With Lily Pond Group’s emerging portfolio—including Hampton Water, Five Springs, and Mezcal Mezul—Jesse is shaping brands that stand for more than just good drinks. They’re grounded in storytelling, authenticity, and community, with the kind of cultural resonance that turns a product into a lifestyle.

Jesse spoke more about how he got started, how the Hamptons informed his approach, and what he sees on the horizon for the next generation of lifestyle brands.

When did you come up with the concept for Hampton Water and decide to move forward with it?

JB: We saw an opportunity to change the narrative around rosĆ© and the idea of ā€œrosĆ© season.ā€ We wanted something sophisticated but still fun and easygoing, something that reflected the lifestyle we love. When we connected with GĆ©rard Bertrand, it all clicked. The quality in the juice matched the story we wanted to tell, and that’s when we knew we had something special.
