Three-Day Wellness Retreat Coming To Montauk

Montauk hotspot The Surf Lodge is joining forces with ABC Carpet & Home for a Wellness Retreat this September.

The weekend of wellness, taking place Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30, will feature bites by abcV, yoga with Elena Brower, Guided Meditation practice led by Biet Simkin, Physique 57 classes, Astrology readings, plant intelligence and beauty and spa treatments.

“We’re excited to be partnering with ABC Carpet and Home and The Surf Lodge to bring a curated weekend of wellness from experts across the industry,” Emily Eitches, Physique 57 Digital Marketing Director, explained.

abcV focuses on “high vibration” bites that are plant based, non gmo, sustainable, artisanal and organic. The vegan Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant sources from small and family farms.

Brower, a teacher, author, speaker, Presidential Diamond leader with doTERRA, and mother, has taught yoga for nearly 20 years. She has also penned articles for Yoga Journal, Yoga International, Huffington Post, MindBodyGreen, Well and Good NYC, Positively Positive, and more. Her debut book, Art of Attention, earned the top spot in design on Amazon and her follow up, Practice You: A Journal, is a bestseller from Sounds True.

Simkin, a spiritual teacher and author, was mentored by an awakened Shaman as a toddler. She founded a one of a kind system, Center of the Cyclone™ meditation, and is currently focused on a ‘how to meditate’ guidebook that is expected to be released in the fall. Simkin is one of the few teachers in the U.S. qualified to guide meditation for large groups. She has led meditations at the MoMA in NYC, Sundance Film Festival, and luxury hotels from LA to the Amalfi Coast.

Physique 57, a challenging 57-minute barre workout, utilizes cardio, strength training, stretching, and inventive choreography, accompanied by energizing music.
