Congratulations on being a part of the newly created music streaming app, BNDR Live. How was your time hosting the live music concerts and events for the platform alongside former Disney star Kyle Massey?
JM: It’s ongoing but traveling to LA to film is difficult at the moment since I’d have to be quarantined for 14 days. So it’s hard to travel to LA with the new social distancing rules. Nevertheless, having the opportunity to talk about music with up-and-coming artists has been a wonderful experience. Kyle Massey and I spent a lot of time together talking about music, what’s trending, and every current thing. Even though concerts aren’t as relevant during this time, people are still producing music and working on their craft, which makes the BNDR Live app so great right now. A lot of artists say that they feel most creative when they are at home.

How have you been handling your career as a bi-coastal model, actress, and content creator with your trips or projects being pushed back due to the current pandemic?
JM: Many of my projects have been outright canceled as a model and actress. It’s a different time now because people are scared to travel and companies are losing a lot of money, but there has been some momentum since everything started. There was a time during the first two months of quarantine when absolutely everything was cancelled, which is why I enjoy also being a social media influencer. Being a content creator never ends, so if one of my other occupations isn’t keeping busy, there’s always two other things. I just love being busy and feel fulfilled, always finding something to do. It’s the immigrant hustle – since both of my parents came to the US from Poland.
What does an average day look like for you on the East End? Do you have any favorite places to visit, shop, dine, socialize, and relax?
JM: There is no “one” favorite place for me to visit in the Hamptons, however, I have been spending a lot of time in East Hampton and Montauk this summer. My day to day is going for walks/runs in the morning and working from home as much as I can. I then figure out my dinner plans – either make something at home or step out! My favorite places to eat are Moby’s, East Hampton Grill, Navy Beach, and Gurney’s. I love to shop on Main Street because of all the great shops, including my favorite: Zimmermann! The one and only place I love to relax the most is at the beach. I could sit out for hours and walk around for exercise.
I absolutely love your sophisticated, trendy, and traditional fashion style. How would you describe your personal clothing style? What are the latest fashion brands or essentials you have been obsessed with?
JM: Thank-you so much! I’d say my style is elegant, tasteful, sophisticated, but also trendy, always with a European twist. I love dressing comfortably and still looking chic during the summer, which allows me to feel uplifted and happy. Which is why Zimmerman floral pieces are my favorite. They’re effortless, colorful, and unique.
Do you have any fitness, beauty, or lifestyle tips for our readers?
JM: Working out outdoors is my top fitness tip when being out here! The weather has been so great. Going out for a run or long walk on the beach is my favorite way to start the day. As for beauty, I have always been a natural look lover. For the most part I have been using Elta MD’s UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46. It is a lightweight, oil-free face sunscreen that protects acne-prone and sensitive skin. Aside from protection, it gives me a very nice radiant glow.
