Super Saturday Expands To Second Shopping Extravaganza In Santa Monica

Super Saturday, the most anticipated shopping event of the Hamptons summer season, is expanding with a second bazaar in Santa Monica. Rachel Zoe, Rodger Berman, Molly Sims, and Scott Stuber are hosting the inaugural West Coast Super Saturday benefit on Saturday, May 17, at Barker Hangar.

Like the Hamptons happening, the day-long fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) will feature the top luxury brands in fashion, beauty, fitness, household goods, kids, and more. In 2013, the Water Mill event raised over $3.5 million for OCRF’s research projects.

Previous designers at Super Saturday include Donna Karan, Helmut Lang, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Valentino, Theory, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs, Elizabeth and James, Scoop, Vera Wang, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, alice + olivia, 7 For All Mankind, and Vince. Stars like Blake Lively, Kelly Ripa, Kim Kardashian, Heidi Klum, Edie Falco, Mariska Hargitay, Christie Brinkley, Christy Turlington Burns, Emma Roberts, Kristen Davis, Lorraine Bracco, Barbara Walters, Petra Nemcova, Kris Jenner, Kyle MacLachlan, Russell Simmons, Beth Ostrosky, Kelly Rutherford, Rachel Zoe, Joy Behar, Jessica Seinfeld, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Bianca Jagger, Isaac Mizrahi, and Donna Karan have shopped for the cause over the years.

Hamptons supporter don’t fret, you won’t have to travel all the way to Los Angeles to score designer duds at discounted prices. The East End extravaganza is still happening with Donna Karan and Kelly Ripa as hosts of Super Saturday 17 on Saturday, July 26.
